Why Mycelium Packaging?
A large share of the packaging we use today protects products only
for a short time, yet remains in the environment for decades.
Mycelium-based packaging is created by naturally binding organic waste-based inputs with fungal mycelium. It contains no chemical adhesives, petroleumderived ingredients, or persistent plastics.
With density, form, and performance that can be tailored to specific needs, these materials offer a system that is protective and functional throughout use, yet able to return to nature at the end of its life cycle.
